  • Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) which manage the Chaperones locally, ranging from Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs) and other community-based organizations with a program coordinator and assistants. 

  • Healthcare providers (hospitals, clinics, and doctors) who manage the Chaperones through their Volunteer department coordinators and assistants.

  • U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services and AmeriCorps Seniors.

  • National condition- and disease-related causes that promote the interests of their respective constituencies (including dialysis and chemotherapy patients), and assist with contact with local CBOs and hospitals.

  • National organizations include Catholic Charities USA, the Network of Jewish Human Service Agencies, and Travelers Aid Society.

TrustedRiders has 16 funded sites in 14 states.  Piloted with Community Care Corps funds HHS and now in their fourth year at Ascension St. Agnes Hospital, Baltimore, MD, and the Agency on Aging of South Central Connecticut (AOASCC). Funding by Community Care Corps, AmeriCorps Seniors Demonstration and Senior Companion Programs, foundation, AARP, and private donations.

 

TrustedRiders now has sites nationwide, including local community organizations with funding from federal AmeriCorps Seniors Demonstration and Senior Companion Programs in HI, NM, CA, and WA. 

In 2023, new Community Care Corps-funded sites were added in CT, GA, AL, MO, AZ, CA, and a new award was to Ascension St. Agnes Hospital, Baltimore, MD.
